Hiranmaye Energy Limited formerly known as India Power Corporation (Haldia) Limited was incorporated in 2008.
Hiranmaye Energy Limited is an initative by Ministry of Commerce & Industries for setting up 3x150 MW Thermal Power Plant at Haldia, Purba Midnapur, West Bengal.
An initiative and
support for having private investment in the tune of Rs.3500 Crores in power sector to meet the ever increasing power demand.
Land obtained from the Govt. of West Bengal through Haldia Development Authority (HDA) for power plant.
Unit#1, COD is declared.
Unit#2, COD is declared.
Unit#3: Expected commissioning by March-2020.
The plant will support the State Government's commitment towards sustained job creation for people of West Bengal for direct and indirect employment.
Factory License obtained from Directorate of Factory, Govt. of West Bengal.
Boiler Steaming Certificate obtained from Directorate of Boiler, Govt. of West Bengal.
Project Finance by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Rural Electrification Corporation
(REC) and financial closure/approval obtained.
In-principle investment approval obtained from West Bengal State Electricity Regulatory
Commission.
